Bangshanwen Tower of Long’an County

Located in the east of Long’an County, Guangxi, Bangshanwen Tower was built in 1894 with an octagonal shape, being 23.8 meters high. Due to long-time disrepair, many cultural relics in the tower were destroyed, as only four words “Bang Shan Wen Ta” (meaning Bangshanwen Tower) and a couplet on one side remained, but the tower still stands on Dongduxiu Mountain. In 2012, Bangshanwen Tower was restored and reconstructed to show Long’an County’s cultural flavor.
